Kingdoms Rise: Sands of Fury Slot Review
The third video slot of Playtech’s Kingdoms Rise edition takes us to the ancient desert city, where we will meet Raz, the Desert Queen, Kren, the Desert Star, Erinna, Lady of Vain, Zaldar the Final Fury, and Wolkar, the Sage of Baltiin. Kingdoms Rise: Sands of Fury is a five-reel, 20-payline video slot that offers some interesting features, triggered by Golden Wilds. Every single reel contains the statue of a character from the desert city and on each reel gamers can land a Golden Wild to trigger the feature and get respins and/or Locked Wilds. Also, you can pocket the Kingdoms Rise Progressive Jackpot.
After visiting the depths of the ocean and an enchanted forest, it is time to meet the members of the desert kingdom. Raz is the Desert Queen and the regular symbol that pays the most. Zaldar, the Final Fury, is the bravest warrior of the realm, while Erinna, Lady of Vain, is excellent with the bow and arrow. Kren the Desert Star prefers a club as a weapon, while Wolkar relies on magic. All of these regular symbols can land as Golden Wilds as well. Also, there are several Gemstones appearing on the reels, acting as low-value icons.
If you obey the rules of the realm, you will have a really pleasant stay in the desert city. The 2019 release features five reels, three rows, and benefits from 20 fixed paylines, which pay left to right, starting from the leftmost reel, with three of a kind being the minimum for landing payouts. The betting range is very wide and will certainly attract both penny punters and high rollers. Wager as low as £0.10 and as high as £1,000 per single spin. The command list is pretty standard and offers all the usual options.
The Wild Fury feature will be activated when one of the Golden Wilds symbols appear on the reels. One of the features will be triggered and as long as the feature is active, the triggering Golden Wild will remain locked on its position. Gamers can hope for Wild Locks, which keep the Wilds on the reels for the next spin, character symbols, which add more Wilds on the reels, and 5 respins. Once the chain appears above the reel that holds the Golden Wild, the feature will be over and the Wild will be removed.
Like in the other two Kingdoms Rise video slots, the Progressive Jackpot can be triggered after every spin, but the bigger the bet is, the larger the chances for triggering the jackpot. Punters have the option to collect tokens to buy features in the Kingdoms Rise Shop. Also, use the map to move to another Kingdoms Rise game.
Apart from the Progressive Jackpot, gamers can expect decent wins during the base game as well. The Wild Fury feature can add more Wilds on the reels, give you respins, thus more chances to win big. All Golden Wilds pay 250 coins for five of a kind. The Queen is the regular symbol that pays the most, offering 150 coins for five of a kind. Kingdoms Rise: Sands of Fury’s RTP is 96.26%.
Kingdoms Rise: Sands of Fury on Mobile
The desert can be a very beautiful, but also a very dangerous place, especially when you are aware of the fact that the Queen’s finest warriors are looking at you. Players who want to enjoy the Playtech title from a safe distance can do so from the comforts of their homes, or on the go, since the 2019 release is playable across all devices.
+ Excellent visuals
+ A valuable Progressive Jackpot
+ Playable across all devices
– No free spins
– No multipliers
– Lacks action
In our humble opinion, the Kingdoms Rise: Sands of Fury is the worst game in the Kingdoms Rise series. Sure, the visuals are great, as well as the soundtrack, but, when talking about special features, there aren’t as many as in the other two. The Wild Fury feature can be useful, but becomes very monotonous after a while, especially because the chain stops the feature quite fast and quite often. Even so, we are positive that the Playtech title will find a lot of fans among gamers.
