Omni Casino

Background & Reputation

Omni Casino was one of the very first online casinos worldwide, and the fact that it’s still in business certainly carries some weight. Hey, even The Pogg recommends them, and we all know how tough these guys are! The Casino is operating with a license issued by the Government of Curacao, uses SSL digital encryption software to ensure the highest level of safety and security, while the fairness of their games is guaranteed by an RNG employment and TST certificate.

Bonuses & Promotions

How do you feel about a welcome bonus of up to $ 2,000 plus 100 free spins? The bonus is delivered over 4 initial deposits starting with a 100% match bonus up to $ 300.00 on your first deposit. The second deposit is matched with a 75% bonus up to $400, the third with a 50% bonus up to $500 while on your fourth deposit, you will get a 50% bonus up to $800 and 100 free spins. Do note the fine print which says that “your account must be less than $5 before claiming another bonus and may not have a pending withdrawal”. There are also some restrictions in terms of games. For example, the bonus cannot be played on any of the table games or Video Pokers. For each of Omni Casino welcome bonuses, 25x Bonus + Deposit wagering requirements apply.

Alternatively, you can collect a High-Roller welcome offer in the amount of $500 providing you deposit $1,000 or more. Having claimed this single-deposit bonus, you’ll only be able to make a withdrawal after having wagered $15,000.

Hot Seat Promotion is apparently the most popular of Omni offers, judging by the votes of their members. A player must play a minimum of five of thirty-one gaming days during a month to win a prize, and wager a minimum of $1,250 per day to earn one 1 Hot seat point. Depending on how many points you collect, the Casino will credit wager-free $15 to $500 to your account at the beginning of the following month. Weekly promotions dish out treats every single day of the week, mostly in form of generous reloads. Double Royal payouts are offered every Friday and Saturday for playing Video Pokers; get a Royal Flush in hearts and the Casino will double the payout up to $1,000 (wager-free!).

Club O VIP program makes you a member as soon as you join. A familiar mechanism awards every $10 wagered with 1 Club O comp point which can be converted into real cash. Advancing through 3 loyalty levels delivers better points-to-cash conversion rates, special offers, higher deposit and game limits, express cash-outs, and more.

Software & Games

Omni Casino features exclusively Playtech games, available via a downloadable software and Flash instant play version. You will be able to play them for fun but not before opening an account. Gaming catalogue counting 200+ games features many popular Playtech titles, such as Great Blue, Atlantis Queen, Wacky Waters, Cops ‘n Bandits, Dolphin Cash, Full Moon Fortunes and Ghosts of Christmas, as well as new releases such as God of Storms, the latest instalment in the popular Age Of The Gods series. If you’re looking to become very rich with the minimum of effort, try spinning the reels of progressives such as Gladiator, Beach Life, or Monty Python’s Spamalot.

Those who prefer card games will have about 15 to pick from. The collection includes 21 Duel, Surrender and Switch Blackjack, Caribbean Stud, Casino Hold’em, Pai Gow and Tequila Poker, Baccarat and Red Dog. Among several Roulette variants you’ll find the unique Marvel Roulette, and if dice are what turns you on, launch Craps or Sic Bo. The portfolio additionally provides 16 Video Pokers and about the same number of Keno and Arcade games.

Live Casino

Earlier this year, the operator has launched Live Casino offering (what took them so long??) and their members can finally enjoy feature-rich Playtech live games while chatting with professional and friendly dealers. The collection currently includes Live Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Casino Hold’em and Hi-Lo. We know Playtech has plenty more to offer, both in terms of different varieties of the above-mentioned games, as well as rarely found ones such as live dealer Craps, so hopefully, Omni Live Casino will expand in not-too-distant future.

Mobile

Try accessing this gaming venue with the help of your mobile device and you’ll be met with the following message: “Omni casino doesn’t currently offer mobile games, but our sister brand Carbic Casino does.” What the heck??? Having seen how late the operator introduced live gaming to their site, we half expected not to be wowed by the mobile experience but didn’t think there wouldn’t be one at all. So there you go – nada!

Banking

The list of 28 banking methods available for making deposits includes a great range of credit/debit cards, E-wallets, Prepaid cards and Instant Banking options; the only thing missing is a mobile payment option (wonder why). All of them, except Ukash and Paysafecard, can also be used to cash out up to $10,000 per month. On the negative side, withdrawal requests could be held pending between 48 and 72 hours, however, most players report extremely fast cashouts. Accepted currencies include USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, ZAR and YEN.

Customer Support

Knowing what a solid reputation Omni Casino has among players, for quality of customer support as for the other elements of their offering, it was disappointing to see FAQ link leading nowhere, and Live chat being offline – especially since the Casino claims their support team works 24/7. Should you encounter same situation, you’ll just have to use one of the other contact options available, either telephone or email.

  • Operating hours: 24/7
  • Live chat: Yes

Casino Bloke’s Verdict

Casino Bloke genuinely believes that a bad online gaming provider can’t survive for long, and having learnt that Omni Casino is old enough to be allowed to gamble, he started off with high hopes. It’s true that the site itself would benefit from a re-design, as it looks a bit dated, but that wasn’t high on our list of priorities, and it’s probably not on top of yours either. Playtech is not at all a bad choice when it comes to single-provider venues, but the resulting library is still quite modest, and while we appreciate loads of promotions to take advantage of, as well as the high bonus offered to new members, related wagering requirements are simply over the top. The biggest disappointment, however, is the lack of mobile gaming option. Overall, Omni Casino seems to have frozen in time some years ago and/or have simply given up. Perhaps like with dogs, 19 in casino years equals 133 in human’s, and it might be time to retire?
