Iron Girl Slot Review
A brand new space adventure is waiting for you in Iron Girl, a five-reel, twenty-payline video slot. The Play’n Go title is a futuristic game in which you get to battle against the wanted villains Quake, Shia, Slith and Thunder. You will have help from Iron Girl and her trusty Iron Armor, which comes with an Iron Armor feature that is randomly triggered. High-value symbols and Wilds are held in place during Villain Re-spins for bigger wins, while eight or more sticky Villains on the screen trigger the Bounty Bonus feature and add multipliers for your final Villain Re-spin.
The gang is on the loose and it is up to you to capture all the wanted criminals. There are four of them and they all have bounties on their heads, some bigger than the others. Be on the look for Quake, Shia, Slith and Thunder, since they represent high-paying symbols. Odd-looking card suits are used for low-value icons. The Iron Girl is the Wild that substitutes for all other symbols and secures easier payouts. The Iron Armor will not appear among regular symbols, but it will trigger the Iron Armor feature on random spins.
The rules of this space adventure are not that hard, so you will be spinning the reels like a pro in no time at all. The 2018 release features a standard 5×3 playing grid and benefits from 20 fixed paylines. To win payouts, simply land three or more matching symbols on a payline, starting from the leftmost reel. Every spin requires 20 coins, but you can alter the coin value, which goes from £0.01 to £5, meaning that you can bet as low as £0.20 and as high as £100 per single spin. The futuristic command list contains all the necessary options.
On each spin, the highest among villain symbols are held on their places, alongside any Wilds that are landed on the reels and gamers are awarded with a free re-spin. This is called the Villain Re-spin feature. The feature is over when no more Wilds or matching high-paying symbols land on the reels in a re-spin. If you manage to land 8 or more sticky villain symbols during re-spins, the Bounty Bonus feature starts. Collect 10, 12 or 14 sticky villains and you will get a 2x, 3x or a 5x multiplier on your final Villain Re-spin.
Apart from these two features, gamers can benefit from the Iron Armor feature, triggered randomly on a base game spin. The Iron Armor will fly in and add 2-5 extra Wilds on the reels, which will replace non-winning symbols. If the feature results in a win, you will trigger the Villain Re-spin feature.
If our sources are correct, the leader of the intergalactic gang is Quake and the bounty on his head is the largest, offering 10 times the bet for five of a kind. Shia is next in line, rewarding gamers with 7.5 times the bet for the maximum combination. The Villain Re-spin feature will help you collect plenty of high-value symbols and if you trigger the Bounty Bonus, there is a multiplier waiting for you as well.
Iron Girl on Mobile
The Play’n Go product can be played across all devices, with no losses in the quality of the visuals and the game in general when played on mobile gadgets. All controls will be under your fingertips if you decide to play on the go, so you can go on a hunt for the gang of intergalactic villains on your smartphones and tablets.
+ Exciting and rewarding features
+ Playable across all devices
+ Futuristic visuals
– No free spins
– Not easy to get the maximum multiplier
We love the fact that you get the opportunity to stack high-value symbols and Wilds and that you can win big for the price of one spin, thanks to Villain Re-spins. Also, if you are lucky enough, the Bounty Bonus feature can surprise you with a sweet multiplier, up to 5x, which is always helpful. The Iron Armor feature is also very good, bringing up to 5 Wilds on the reels. However, we are big fans of free spins, so we weren’t very pleased to find out there aren’t any in the Play’n Go product. Apart from that, Iron Girl is a very good video slot, especially if you love video slots located in space.
