The reels are set on the streets of Rio and are packed with a cheering crowd. The Queen herself is the Bonus Scatter that triggers the Free Spins feature, while her Crown is the regular symbol that pays the most, offering 20 times the bet for six of a kind. Four visitors from the crowd are taken to act as high-value symbols: the Red-haired Girl, the Black Guy, a Green-haired Guy and a Blue Girl. Low-value symbols are represented by simple playing cards. Letter W is used as a Wild that substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter.
The Carnival Queen video slot features six reels, four rows and offers 4,096 ways to win. To win a payout, gamers need to land at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. The Crown is the only regular symbol that pays even for two of a kind. The Avalanche feature will make sure that all winning symbols disappear from the reels, making room for new symbols to appear and create a new winning combination.
Thanks to the increasing multiplier, each successive win will be boosted by a multiplier, which starts at 1x and increases by 1x for each successive win. Once the Avalanche feature is over, the multiplier resets at 1x.

Due to the fact that we are big fans of the Carnival in Rio, we really like all video slots themed after the big fiesta, especially when a video slot is packed with action, which is the case with the Thunderkick product. Thanks to the Avalanche feature and the increasing multiplier, big wins can be expected both in the base game and the Free Spins feature. The only thing we did not like in the 2019 release is the fact that Thunderkick used generic playing cards and that the graphics are not as good as we expected. Other than that, we really think that Carnival Queen should be one of your choices these days.
