Felt Gaming’s Double Ball Roulette is an online roulette table with an interesting twist. It’s an RNG-powered table, where players have access to two balls spinning at the same time. The developers went out of their way to make sure animations and visuals are top-notch. It’s one of the better-looking games we have played, especially with its iconic grey tables.
Felt Gaming’s Double Ball Roulette is based on European Roulette. That means we have access to several French bets and a single zero. The gameplay and payouts create a high volatility game, which boasts an RTP of 97.30%, which is the same as single-ball European Roulette.
The game features a mouth-watering 1200:1 maximum prize. To land the big win, you need to choose one number and have both balls land on that number on the same wheel spin.
You pick your total bet by selecting the offered coins and placing them on the board. Felt Gaming doesn’t have any restrictions on betting, either. You can place the $2500 maximum bet any way you like. Whether that’s spreading it across the board, or placing it all on one number!
Once you set all your bets, you click the Wheel button. This will let you review your bet and go back to the table to change it. If you’re certain, press Spin and the first ball will be fired. You can fire the second ball manually, or let it automatically fire when the timer expires.
After a round ends, it’s possible to Re-Bet the same combination, or go back to make a new bet. There is no Autoplay system in place. There’s also a notable absence of a detailed statistics page. Felt Gaming keep track of prior wins above the table, but it can only store so much information.
Clicking the Neighbours button swaps the view from a table to a race wheel. Here, players make neighbour bets by clicking on a number. It will bet on that number, and two of its neighbours, both left and right. There doesn’t seem to be a way to increase or reduce the number of neighbours.
Through that same interface, we can also make several bonus French bets. Felt Gaming’s Double Ball Roulette has Voisins, Orphelins and Tiers bets. It’s easy to see what areas they cover thanks to the design of the race track.
The game stands out due to its higher than usual payouts. Only Red and Black pays 1:1 here. High/Low, Black or Red and Odd or Even pay 3:1. Same column or dozen award a 35:1 prize and any same number is worth 35:1. The Double Ball Jackpot is also considered an outside bet, and pays 1200:1! To win any outside bet, both balls must hit.
In contrast, inside bets pay less than usual. Six line, four corner and three line award a 2:1, 3:1 and 5:1 cash prizes, respectively. Splits are worth 8:1, while Straight number bets pay 17:1. Unlike outside bets, only one ball needs to hit for a win to register in Felt Gaming’s Double Ball Roulette.
Making a decision on this game was not a difficult choice. We love the idea, and Felt Gaming’s Double Ball Roulette shows serious potential. The jackpot alone will draw so many punters to this release! In addition to the pretty visuals and a thrilling jackpot, the RTP is more than decent. We recommend trying it out because it’s such a cool concept and provides players with plenty of winning opportunities.
