HOW TO PLAY GIOVANNI’S GEMS
Once you enter this mysterious cave, you will be dazzled by a shining rainbow of raw, uncut gemstones. As we already told you, a Sack, Torch and Pickaxe are needed on this adventure, because you need something to put your gems in, something to see better in the cave, and something to pick the gemstones out of the rocks. These symbols are also used as high-paying symbols, just like Emerald and Ruby.
The low-value ones are represented by Sapphire, Amethyst, Citrine and Coal. A Diamond also appears in the game, but more about that later. There are no Wilds in the 2017 release whatsoever, while the Giovanni Scatter triggers the Free Spins feature.
Now, we said that Giovanni’s Gems features a 7×7 layout and offers Cascading Clusters, meaning that there are no paylines. In order to win a payout, punters will have to form a cluster of 5 or more matching symbols. This does not include Scatters since they will pay anywhere on the reels, but you need to land at least three of them. Once you form a winning cluster, the winning symbols will explode, leaving room for new symbols to fill their place and, hopefully, form new winning combinations.
Spinners can wager from 30 to 150 coins on a single spin, depending on the selected Bet Level (1-5). Also, it is possible to set the coin value ($0.02 – $1), meaning that the minimum possible bet is set at $0.60, while the biggest wager you can place is $150. Hit the Max Bet button if you want to wager to the max, and, if you decide to sit back and enjoy the beauties of the cave, set up to 100 automatic spins in Autoplay.
