HOW TO PLAY GNOMES’ GEMS
Gamers will meet five gnomes working in this mine. Even though they will not appear as symbols on the reels, they will help you collect extra symbols, like Bombs, Magnets, Arrows and Dynamite, but more about that later. Your main objective in the 2017 release will be to collect precious gemstones, like Rubies, Amethysts and Emeralds, which represent high-paying symbols. Playing cards are represented like ores in order to fit the theme and serve as low-value icons.
The Pickaxe is the game’s Wild and it substitutes for all symbols except Scatter and extra symbols. The Lantern is used as a Scatter that triggers the Free Spins feature. What is also important to notice is that extra symbols and Scatters cannot appear on the same spin.
Since there are plenty of additional features incorporated, gamers might have a little trouble understanding the rules of the game once they start exploring the mine, but after a couple of spins they will be playing like experienced miners. Basically, Gnomes’ Gems features a standard 5×3 layout and offers 20 fixed paylines, which pay left to right, beginning from the far left reel. Spinners will start winning payouts once they start landing a minimum of three matching symbols on a payline. Gamers can bet as low as $0.20 and as high as $100.
Moving on to the control panel. The Spin button is located in the very middle of the command list. On the right you have Autoplay with up to 1,000 automatic spins and the Fast Forward button if you want to speed the reels up a bit. On the left side of the Spin button we have Max Bet for gamers who like to bet to the maximum, and the Paytables, containing all the necessary information. Players can set their total bet in the bottom left part of the screen.
