The first Wazdan Sizzling Moon™ features we’ll cover are the various UI settings. First of all, you can switch on a sort of Wazdan specialty – the ultra-fast mode. This makes all of your spins pretty much instant and is a welcome addition.

You can also find the volatility settings right next to the spin button. There are 3 levels available. Lowering volatility decreases the payouts but makes them much more common. Conversely, increasing volatility bumps out the rewards but gives them out at a slower pace. It’s an interesting idea that can help mold the Sizzling Moon™ game to the player.

The Wild Symbol is the easiest Sizzling Moon™ bonus feature to explain. It replaces anything else to make winning combinations. This doesn’t work with Bonus symbols, though.

Also, you can opt to double any of your regular wins by clicking on the x2 symbol after the spin is resolved. This launches a sort of coin flip minigame. Guess the colour of the card/coin before the flip, and you’ll double your winnings! You can do this up to 7 times in a row for any win.

The big glowing orb is your Bonus symbol. Hit 6 of these and you’ll trigger the Hold the Jackpot bonus round. Interestingly, this symbol occasionally comes in a Sticky version. As the name implies, this symbol sticks around for up to 9 re-spins. Sticky bonus symbols make triggering the bonus round much, much easier.

Hold the Jackpot

The bonus game uses the same 4×4 grid. All of the regular symbols are removed, with only Bonus symbols still in play. Each is assigned a value, which can be a stake multiplier or a fixed amount.

Once the bonus round begins, you get 3 Sizzling Moon™ free spins. Every position has a chance to hit additional symbols with additional prizes. Just keep hitting the spin button and more of them will appear across the table, sticking around for any subsequent spins. In the end, all of the wins secured are summed up and paid out. However, if you fail to get additional bonus symbols for 3 spins, the bonus round ends. Alternatively, the game ends if all 16 positions are filled. If this happens, another 1,000x jackpot is added to whatever other wins you secured in the bonus round!

You may also receive one of the mystery symbols. These can turn into multiplier bonus symbols. The special Moon Mystery can potentially also turn into the Moon Jackpot symbol. Mystery symbols open at the end of the Bonus round. If a Moon Mystery symbol reveals a Moon Jackpot symbol, you’ll win the 2,500x grand prize!
