INTRODUCTION

Wazdan is continuing its streak of fire-themed games with long, incomprehensible names. It seems all of their games are part of some series, though we can’t quite understand what connects them. For instance, the release of Magic Bombs was preceded by Hot Sot™ Crown 777 – a game we thoroughly enjoyed which also had the strange naming problem.

To be fair, Wazdan slots are connected by a set of features that makes the company so great at what it does. However, those handy features are part of all Wazdan games, not just the ones marked by Hot Slot™.

There’s thematic overlap, of course. A lot of these recent releases aim for the look and fun of classic fruit machines with a shimmering, fiery look sprinkled in. It looks fine and eye-catching, though nothing particularly spectacular or unique. We would have wished for a stronger theme here, but it’s not a detrimental issue anyway.

Wazdan Magic Bombs is a simple game when you first start playing. The core idea is to build up sticky bonuses and then collect them in a massive Free Spins round. Let’s take it from the top, though.

The base game is played on a 5×3 with classic fruit symbols. There are 10 active paylines. Your job is to arrange matching symbols from left to right along one of the paylines, starting with the leftmost reel. The rest is handled through special features and other symbols.

You can also use several familiar Wazdan features as well. For example, you can change the volatility of Hot Slot™: Magic Bombs by clicking the chillies on the bottom right. You can choose between low, medium, and high levels of variance. The higher the volatility, the bigger your wins, but they happen less often.

Additionally, anything you win can be gambled for more. After any regular win, click the “x2” marker above the stake settings. You can then gamble “double or nothing” for the entirety of your winnings from that spin. You can even do so up to seven times in a row, potentially turning a small win into a huge one.

Wazdan Hot Slot™: Magic Bombs are quite interesting, though. You can get even more of them by having a Free Spins Collector. Wazdan calls this feature Collect to Infinity™, so we can expect to see it in other games.

The Free Spin Collector basically collects free spins from Scatters that don’t trigger the free spins round. First, the cannon-shaped Collector appears randomly during base gameplay. It will stick to the board until a Free Spins round is triggered. Every time a Scatter appears from that point on, the Collector adds +1 Free Spin to its collection. Once Free Spins are triggered, any additional spins collected this way are added to the total free spin bonus.

Free Spin Collectors can also appear during an active Free Spins round. In this case, they just add +3 spins to the running count.

Last but not least, we have the Mystery Jackpot symbol. This is a sticky symbol that will remain on your board until you trigger it – which is at an end of a Free Spin round. Note that it can also appear during the regular game. In this case, it will just sit there awkwardly until you finally get those free spins.
