HOW TO PLAY PEEK BACCARAT

Without the ability to play Peek Baccarat for real money for now, we’ll have to fill in some of the blanks. Specifically, we’ll mostly be talking about the general Peek Baccarat variant rules. Some of these may end up implemented differently in Evolution’s release. We’ll just have to wait and see. In preparation, here’s what you need to know about Peek Baccarat.

The core gameplay is typically the same as in any game of baccarat. You select a stake and choose whether you want to bet on Player, Banker, or a tie. The goal is to predict which of the two card piles will end up with a card value closer to 9. Importantly, only the last digit of the total value is taken into account. For instance, a 13 counts as 3. This means all cards with a value of 10 and up essentially count as 0. Evolution Peek Baccarat also uses standard three-card drawing rules.

The big twist of Peek Baccarat is that it allows you to change your bet after seeing the first few cards. You can opt to put a 20% fee when placing a Player or Banker bet. The cards will then be dealt face down. If you paid the fee, between one and four cards will be revealed. You can use this new information to adjust your bets.

Standard Peek Baccarat allows you to raise your bet or fold at this point. According to Evolution’s official info, you will be able to Double or Triple your bet after peeking at the cards. They also implied that you can choose to fold. If this is true, you’ll likely get back the main stake but lose the 20% commission if you fold.
