As we mentioned previously, payouts in Lightning Ball are determined by the number of hits on a single ticket. The game simply multiplies the stake used for that specific ticket and pays out an instant prize.

All winning results, ranging from 2 numbers to all 6, have a specified base payout. This is the reward you receive if you win the ticket with no Lightning Multipliers. However, if you’re lucky with the Lucky Numbers, you can receive a substantially higher amount. Every possible outcome also has a maximum potential amount it can reach through multipliers.

• 2 winning numbers on a ticket have a base payout of 2x but can be increased up to 50x
• 3 winning numbers on a ticket have a base payout of 5x but can be increased up to 250x

Lightning Ball RTP sits at 97.03%. This is a pretty strong payout rate compared to most gambling games out there – especially bingo and lotto. It’s also an improvement over Lightning Lotto.

LIGHTNING BALL BY EVOLUTION – CASINO BLOKE’S VERDICT

Although fans of Lightning games may have been hoping for something else, Lightning Ball is generally a great game. Sure, it’s pretty much just an updated version of Lightning Lotto. But not every game has to be endlessly innovative and creative. Sometimes it pays just to go back to old titles and see how you can improve them, so we admire Evo for what they’re doing here.

Needless to say, the presentation and visual aspects of the game are near-perfect. That’s pretty much to be expected from any Lightning game (or any Evolution game, to be frank.) However, our praise for the game is not just skin-deep. The only true difference between Lightning Lotto and Lightning Ball is that the math model was changed a bit. Overall, we feel that Ball is a definite improvement.

Why? You win more often, for starters. Decreasing the numbers needed for a win to 2 was a great move, even if the maximum payout had to suffer as a consequence. Ultimately, the game simply outshines most others in its genre in terms of RTP. It’s nowhere near Blackjack, of course, but 97.03% is still remarkably high for online bingo/lotteries.

Push comes to shove, and Lightning Ball is fairly forward and open about what it is. If the concept sounds interesting to you, we can safely recommend it.
