Sometimes, the best casino games are the simplest ones. Complex titles have their place, and we thoroughly enjoy them. However, we also want casino games we can play when we just want to relax and have fun. Ezugi’s Lucky 7 fits into that niche perfectly, with a simple gameplay loop you can learn in five minutes.
The game is played with eight fifty-two card decks. However, only one card is ever in play. The way you win in Lucky 7 is remarkably simple. All you have to do is predict what lies beneath the face down card. The user interface is quite helpful in that regard. It displays statistics for the last couple of rounds, as well as what kind of payouts you can find.
Each round starts with a betting timer. During this time, players can play main and side bets via the user interface. When the timer runs out, a card is drawn and placed on the table. The table supports an unlimited number of players at any given time. The goal of the game is to predict the value of the face down card. Will it be above seven, below seven or seven exactly?
If you get it right, you receive an appropriate cash prize. A wrong guess will result in a loss of your initial wager. The result is determined immediately after the card is drawn. Once enough cards are drawn, the decks are swapped and reshuffled.
Players have access to four side bets they can play. Available bets include odd, even, red and black.
Standard payouts in Lucky 7 are quite down to earth. Betting on above or below 7 will get you a 1:1 reward. However, you can also place a bet that the drawn card is exactly seven. If you guess this correctly, you win the highest possible prize, which is 11:1. The main bet RTP is 92.31%, which is abysmally low. It is very rare to find a release where a side bet has a better RTP than the main bet.
Ezugi also introduces a nice statistics system. These statistics tell you how many times each option won. It also works for side bets, which we really like! Use this to try and track exploitable trends. Is below 7 looking more successful than average? By using the statistics page, you can find that out and use it.
You do not play this kind of casino game when you want to strategize. While both it and blackjack are played with cards, the experience is vastly different. Lucky 7 does not have any strategies you can employ. It just asks you to predict whether the drawn card is higher or lower than seven. If something simple and to the point suits your fancy, then definitely check this release out.
