Live Chat (Live Dealer):
Evolution Gaming’s Live Casino Hold’em is a live casino table where a limitless number of players go against the dealer. All punters receive the same set of cards, but choose how to play them independently of one another. Streamed from the developers’ own studio, the video stream is super high quality. The dealers are usually friendly and chatty. Always a big plus for live casino releases!
The RTP for this game is 97.84%. It is played with a single deck of cards, which is reshuffled after every round. Evolution Gaming’s release comes with two side bets. The first is a Bonus bet, which pays if your first five-card hand has a pair of Aces or better. The second is a Jumbo 7 progressive jackpot, which is only available at select online casinos. If you don’t see it when you launch the game, it’s not available for you.
Starting things off simple; you place how much money you want to spend in the Ante button. You are may also place coins in the two bonus circles, if you want to play the side bets. Players choose from a list of coins visible on the screen. A timer ticks down as you wager, telling you how much time you have until the round begins.
The dealer will draw two cards for herself and two for the player. They will also place three common cards on the table. The user interface will highlight the cards you have, and the strength of your cards. You can choose to call and keep playing or fold if you think your hand doesn’t have a chance of winning. Two more cards will be drawn, and then the dealer will reveal their cards. The person with the stronger hand wins!
They also have to draw at least a pair of fours to qualify for the round. If the dealer fails to qualify, then it’s an automatic win for the player. It’s a very rare thing to see them fail to qualify for a round, but it does happen.
Your first side bet checks the strength of your first five-card combination. As such, you’ll know whether you’ve won or not before having to choose to call or fold! You need at least a pair of Aces to win the side bet. The better your first five-card hand, the bigger the cash prize the side-bet grants.
Meanwhile, certain players will have access to a progressive jackpot! You can only wager on this side bet if your casino has purchased that package from Evolution Gaming. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the progressive jackpot in any way, let alone stake on its side bet. Only the progressive jackpot is split between punters. Every other prize is paid separately to each player.
How much you win depends on the strength of your hand. The minimum amount you can score in Live Casino Hold’em is 1:1 if you win a Straight or a lower value card combination. Meanwhile, the maximum payout is 100:1 for a Royal Flush. The bonus bet also has a maximum win of 100:1, requiring you to get a Royal Flush with your first five-card combination.
The idea for a Live Casino Hold’em has certainly been done before Evolution Gaming. However, no one else dared to attach a progressive multiplier to their game! If you enjoy live casino poker against the dealer, it’s a must-play for you. Even if your casino doesn’t support the progressive jackpot, all the little user interface changes make this game amazing. Try it out; we’re confident in saying you won’t regret it.
