HOW TO PLAY LIVE EUROPEAN ROULETTE
This is a standard European roulette wheel, with no special rules in place. As such, it gives us a standard 37-pocket wheel. The wheel has a single green zero, while the remaining 36 numbers are split into red and black pockets evenly. All of this is easily visible from Evolution Gaming’s excellent user interface. Bets are placed via the betting board. Players can make inside and outside bets. Inside bets pay more but are riskier to play as a result. Available inside bets in Live European Roulette are straight-up, split, street, corner and line. Meanwhile, available outside bets include column, dozen, red/black, even/odd and high/low.
Punters can also make neighbour bets using the racetrack in the bottom right corner. Available neighbour bets include four ‘French’ bets called Tiers du Cylindre, Orphelins a Cheval, JeuZero and Voisins du Zero.
The timer telling you how long you have to place bets is designed to mimic a traffic light. When the timer is green, it means you have plenty of time to set your wagers as you like. When it turns yellow, that means you should hurry up. When the timer runs out, the board will be lowered, and the dealer will proceed to spin the ball.
