Most of you probably had the pleasure of watching the battle of Gladiators on TV’s, in movies. They have always been portrayed as muscular men who know to fight and do not fear death. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet four of them, who probably endured many battles in the Colosseum.
All four of them have different helmets, masks and weapons, so gamers will have no trouble distinguishing them. Unfortunately, the rest of the symbols that populate the reels are playing cards, even though one could have expected more gladiators on the reels.
The rules of the game in the Colosseum are rather simple – you either kill your opponent or you get killed. If Lady Luck smiles upon you, the ruler will save your life, but do not depend on his good side. As for the rules of the 2019 release, they are also quite easy. The iSoftBet title features six reels, three rows and benefits from 10 fixed paylines, which pay both from left to right and right to left.
To win a payout, spinners need to land at least three matching symbols on a payline, beginning from the leftmost or the rightmost reel. Betting starts at $0.10 and the biggest possible wager is $10.
The iSoftBet product offers only one additional feature. Gamers need to land a stack of the same Gladiator symbol in order to cover the entire reel. Once that happens, the Gladiator in question will become a Wild and will stick around for the next paid spin. If the successive spin gets you another Gladiator Wild, you will then have two Wild reels for the next spin. The feature ends when no new Gladiator Wilds are formed. In theory, it is possible to get up to 6 Wild reels covered in Gladiator Wilds.
You all know that Gladiators were not paid for their battles in ancient Rome. The one who survived was prepared for the next battle. If you decide to play with these Gladiators, you can win up to 8,000 coins in a single spin. The Gladiator with a Golden Helmet will pay the most, offering 400 coins for five of a kind. Frankly, we expected more from Gladiators Go Wild. When you hear the title, you think that there will be plenty of battles, lots of action and loads of exciting special features. This is definitely not the Gladiator battle we would like to watch. Only one additional feature on the offer and it does not trigger that often.
We tested the 2019 release for a pretty long time and we didn’t manage to get all six Wild reels, we hope other punters will have more luck with it. All in all, iSoftBet has plenty of exciting video slots, but, unfortunately, Gladiators Go Wild is not one of them.
